David L. Buterbaugh, CPA
Dave Buterbaugh established his own CPA firm in 1991 after working as a senior accountant for Max Strom, CPA 1981-1985 and then as a tax manager for Virchow, Krause & Company from 1985 - 1991. His vision was and remains assisting the sector of business that allows him to give his clients personalized attention and resounding results. Dave continues to specialize in tax planning for small businesses and individuals, optimizing every opportunity for their financial success and minimizing tax liabilities.
A graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Dave resides in Scottsdale with his wife Trish and their 3 daughters. They are all active and successful tennis players; Dave is a ranked tennis player in the Southwest Section. He is a member of the IRS and Arizona Liaison committees of Arizona Society of CPAs, a member of the Tax Practice division of American Institute of CPA's, and a Board member of the Phoenix District Tennis Association.
